![]() ![]() What I don’t understand is why no one else seems to have the same issue. #Download diligent boards offline installer Pc#I have tested this exhaustively which included shutting down the PC between each launch of MSFS. I found that by disabling the jetways link EXE.xml runs everything ok including GSX Pro, Fenix the lot. GSX installs two links in the community folder:įsdreamteam-gsx-pro and fsdreamteam-gsx-world-of-jetways In the end I found the culprit and it was GSX itself. I therefore took to removing and replacing numerous items (airports utilities the lot) in the community folder to see if something else was stopping EXE.xml running. Today however I decided instead to look if there were conflicts between apps in my community folder and GSX. As my Fenix and other apps also failed to launch. On previous attempts GSX somehow prevented EXE.xml from running and I believed that was where the problem lay. I’m waiting for my approval to the FSDreamTeam forum where I will also post these findings with my problems of the installation of GSX.Īfter three unsuccessful attempts at installation I decided to try again today. ![]() I understand he has said he may introduce it in future. Using this method the version number is indeed perfunctory, but version number will indeed give the users the assurance that it has been updated. It took me awhile to read the FSDT forums, but I now understand clearly the process and the explanation offered by Umberto. And that’s the reason the offline updater is provided for those using networks where the cloud nodes are not updated yet. The system files may or may not depending on the status of the “nodes”. ![]() Running FSDT Installer will always download the 3 core files Airport, Jetways and Configurations. Once that is done head to FSDT Forums and download the download/run the offline updater and it’s done. When I see that I just run the FSDT Installer which will download the Airport, Jetways and Configuration updates. When GSX needs an update, there’s a message that will appear when GSX is clicked open in the toolbar menu. But I have absolutely no way of knowing if it updated anything. ![]()
